Winter wonderland . What to do at Springwood Cottages Resort..

This is what we offer,

1. Comfortable two, three and four bedrooms cottages with queen size pillow top mattresses,

leather couches, 50 inch flat screens, BBQ's, propane fireplaces and all the amenities of home and more.

We have outdoor hot tubs and a cedar barrel wet sauna.

Dogs are allowed in certain cottages please notify us when you are booking….so we can fill you in with our pet policies …

2. Huge heated outdoor cooking area 6 large propane grills, 1 huge charcoal grill and 2 deep fryers for large groups…free fire wood for all your camp fires.

3. Entire resort is ploughed and all walkways are shovelled and sanded when needed all local roads are kept in great shape threw the entire winter...

4.We rent snowmobiles and ATV’s “special note if you choose to do so please make sure you come dressed adequate to avoid any discomfort if the weather gets cold “

We offer two different services,

You can rent a snowmobile for an hour or more only, if our guide will lead you through your long or short distance adventure,
this can be arranged through Springwood Cottages. You can have up to, two riders on one sled

Rate is $90 + tax per hour per sled, gas is included.

If you wish to go on your own adventure for a day or more, we have a local rental company that we deal with and your ATV or snowmobile will be dropped off at your cottage door step.

Rates start around $200 per day plus gas includes trail pass.

We are on a major snowmobile trail E 108. We also have private trails at our door step for some that great ATV’ing and Snowmobiling.

What ever your rider skill level is from a first timer to seasoned veteran, we have trails and toys for you to enjoy and a skilled guide service is also available.

You can bring your own ATV or Snowmobile, if needed we have oil and a gas pump with 94% octane gasoline for you convenience.

5. Skating rink available upon request for skating or a friendly game of pick up hockey.

6. We offer some incredible cross country trials right at our door step, please bring your own cross country skies.

7. For downhill skiing one hour away is “Galabogy ski hill and Resort”

8. Winter hiking and snow shoeing in the area is incredible, we have lots of private groomed trails for all levels of fitness.

9. Great Ice fishing on big beautiful Kennebec Lake. It offers "Walleye", "Pike", "Perch"," Lake Hearing" “Cisco’s Ling", “Burbot” and "Bluegill"

We also fish other lakes in the area and target other species.

Hungry lake is 5km away from the resort, we go after Splake trout and Lake trout there.

Big Clear Lake is 3 km away from the resort, we go after "Walleye", "Jumbo Perch" and "Pike"

Pine Lake is 8km's away and it is a "PRIVATE LAKE no public access” we go after "Bluegill", "Perch" and "Monster Pike" there.

You are guaranteed to catch fish or your entire guide service is free on Pine Lake!

If you have your own ice fishing gear that's great but, if you forgot something, we have it.

10. We have two, three, four, five person heated wooden ice huts, we also rent portable ice huts too. All our huts are near the shore or within a half a km away, we provide free transport to and from all ice huts.

11. Professional ice fishing guide is on site to offer you a great experience on the ice and so you are guaranteed to catch fish.

We recommend the service for all of our ice fishing guests, no matter if you are a seasoned ice fishing veteran or a novice ice fishermen or women ?

The guide will provide all gear, bait, and if required, an outdoor cook! Mmmm fresh fish and incredibly sweet potato fries, that are a must too try!

12.All of our huts have wood stoves "NOT PROPANE" and some of our huts have beds in case you just want to take a quick rest from all the fishing. 

All huts come with drilled holes ,wood and minnows.

Heated ice hut rental; 4 people $189.00 per day included drilling holes service, bait and wood.

13. We have also on our premises a 1000 square foot movie theatre for all those sporting events that just can’t be missed.Hockey, Football , UFC and even late night movies.
